Pricing your advice with Sue Viskovic CFP® of Elixir Consulting sharing some of the latest findings into the trends, models and prices that advisers are using around the country. Sue will also explore elements that make a sustainable pricing model
Recruitment featuring Practise Principals Sarah Abood CFP® and Olivia Maragna CFP® in discussion about the recruitment process including renumeration models and measuring KPIs.

Rod Bertino has held a number of different senior roles advising on key distribution issues. Additionally, Rod has extensive experience in practice development and leading change in small/medium sized advisory firms. Rod also acts as business coach to a number of premier financial advisers.
David Andrew AFP® is founder and CEO of Capital Partners Private Wealth Advisers, the largest independently owned and non-aligned advisory firms in Perth, Western Australia.
He is author of Wealth With Purpose, and has guided Capital Partners to a number of firsts which including achieving the globally recognised fiduciary standard CEFEX (the highest standard of investment governance an advisory firm can attain); founding membership of GAIA, the Global Association of Independent Advisors; and establishing Smartinvestor.tv, an online video resource to help investors better understand investing.
American born and Perth based, Patrick Canion CFP® has held every job under the sun from pastor to postman to financial planner and has experienced divorce, redundancy, losing his house and coming close to financial disaster. He truly understands the pressures that modern Australian life can throw at you.
James Wortley CFP® has over 23 years’ experience in the Finance Industry, 7 years as an Executive Financial Planner with Westpac and more than 10 years as a self-employed Financial Planner and authorised representative of Magnitude and Securitor. He was the Securitor Qld Adviser of the Year 2014 & 2015. Enlightened Financial Solutions was awarded the Securitor Qld Practice of the Year 2014 & 2016. Enlightened Financial Solutions was a finalist in the FPA Professional Practice of the Year in 2016.
James is an appointed Commissioner for Declarations for the State of Queensland and has completed Australian Stock Exchange specialist education on listed products.
Sue Viskovic CFP® is a proud mother of four; the founder of national consulting business Elixir Consulting; a popular speaker; a business coach; and author of a number of books and programs designed for advisers.
An award-winning advocate for financial advice and small business, Sue’s most recent achievements include her latest book Worth Paying For, which has become a lifeline for many advisers impacted by the LIF, the fourth edition of the Adviser Pricing Models Research Report, and in a first for the financial advice sector, the Mindful Business Planning Retreats.
Sarah Abood CFP® started her career in financial services with AMP in 1989 and holding diverse roles including IT analyst, technical adviser and sales manager over nine years. Sarah has continued her career in the finance world
ever since, holding senior marketing and management roles with Rothschild, Westpac, BT, Colonial First State, and most recently with Fidelity International before joining Profile Financial Services in 2010.
She is passionate about financial planning and firmly believes that every Australian should have access to high quality advice to help them reach their financial goals.
When Olivia Maragna CFP® co-founded Aspire Retire Financial Services with her husband and business partner Stephen Degiovanni in 2003, she was already ahead of the pack when it came to managing money and investments.
She bought her first shares at the age of 20, her first house at 22 and successfully paid off her home in less than 5 years. Even as a young primary school kid, she manned the family road-side fruit stall in country Queensland.
At the age of 28, Maragna became the youngest Australian to receive all three professional designations in her field: CA (Chartered Accountant Designation), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Self-Managed Super Fund Specialist Adviser certification. In 2012, Olivia was named the Association of Financial Advisers 2012 Adviser of the Year. The honour of this award is compounded as she is the first female ever to win this accolade, and the youngest to do so in the 10 year history of the award.
